The delegation from Moi University visited RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany (HSRM) on 14th and 15th January 2026. The team from Moi University was led by the Director of Resource Mobilization, Enterprise Development and Institution Advancement (RMEDIA), Sir Prof. Ambrose Kiprop. HSRM team was led by the President of the University,
Prof. Dr. Jur. Eva Waller. Moi University and HSRM have a collaboration agreement and the visit was purposed to explore ways of actualizing the agreement.
RheinMain University of Applied Sciences has strong schools including Engineering and Business that were very keen to start immediate collaborative activities with Moi University. The School of Engineering of HSRM has very strong research bias in Green hydrogen technology which is one of the key focus areas for MUREPHAR project.

The visit by Moi University delegation to Catholic Diocese of Mainz
The Catholic Diocese of Mainz funded the 1st phase of MUREPHAR Solar Energy Project through the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret.
The purpose of the visit was to give the progress update on the funded project and seek possibility for further funding. The team was welcomed by Dr. Eva Baillie, Referentin Weltkircheand Dr. Sebastian Lang, Generalvikar, Diocese of Mainz (see Picture 3 below). The funders were satisfied with the account of the project progress.

The visit by Moi University delegation to Hessen Agentur GmbH
Moi University delegation paid a visit to Hessen Agentur GmbH who funded 40% of the second phase of the MUREPHAR Solar Energy Project.
The purpose of the visit was to explore more funding for the solar energy project and give account of the usage of prior project funds. The team was received by Dr. Arnélida Gorrín Manzuli and Annika Hartmann. The photo of the meeting teams is shown in Picture 4. The presentation on Moi University was done by Sir Prof. Ambrose Kiprop on behalf of the Vice Chancellor. The reports on MUREPHAR was done by Eng. Cromwell Kebenei.
