The applicant should have a three-year diploma from medical training institution recognized by the KMPDC in any of the following disciplines: Dental Technology, Dental Surgery Assistance, Dental Hygiene, Community Oral Health, Clinical Medicine, Laboratory Technology, Radiography, Pharmaceutical Technology, Nursing, Other equivalent disciplines
   • In addition they must have attained a minimum O-Level Division II pass (EACE) or, C+(plus) mean grade and credit pass C+ (Plus)in the cluster subject in KCSE.
   • Degree in Biological Sciences. Holders of an degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university, subject to passing Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
   • Other Qualifications: Holders of other qualifications deemed to be equivalent to (i) to (v) may also be admitted.For International Baccalaureate (IB): A minimum of grade 5 or above in the cluster subjects above.
   • Proficiency in English Language: International students from non-English speaking countries shall provide evidence of competence in the English language by producing Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) certificate of its equivalent

1. Mean Grade of C + (Plus) and above at KCSE; C+(Plus) in Biology, Chemistry; in Mathematics or Physics and in either English or Kiswahili
2. ‘A’ Level – 3 principal passes in Biology and chemistry and either Mathematics or Physics.
3. Holders of Diplomas in relevant area of study from Kenya Medical College must have the following grades.
   • Mean grade of C+ and a C+ in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics and any other subject or
   • Mean grade of C+ and a C+ in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences and Mathematics and either English or Kiswahili.
4. O’ & A’ level British GCE system applicants must have an A or B in Biology and Chemistry; and either Mathematics or Physics.
5. Diploma in international Be accurate (IB) System, with relevant subjects as Biology and Chemistry; and either Mathematics or Physics.

Admission Requirements: 

1. Mean Grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE; C (Plain) in Biology, Chemistry; Mathematics or Physics and either English or Kiswahili.
2. Holders of qualifications equivalent to the above from institutions recognized by Moi University Senate may be considered.
3. Candidates with relevant diplomas or University degrees who fulfill all other University entry requirements may be considered.
