Alexandria University Exchange Program Students pay the Vice - Chancellor a Courtesy Call

IMG 3713Vice-Chancellor Prof. Isaac S. Kosgey hosted 19 exchange program students from Alexandria University who completed their three week stay at College of Health Sciences on Wednesday 6 February 2019. The exchange program is part of the M.O.U that the two Universities endorsed in 2009. The students arrived in the Country on 24th January 2019 for the three week program where they take an elective course at the College of Health Sciences. Moi University has benefitted enormously from the M.O.U as Alexandria University has sponsored staff and students to pursue their postgraduate studies. The program has enabled over 200 students from the College of Health Sciences to travel to Alexandria University for the exchange program. In the same vein, approximately 400 students from Alexandria University have visited Moi University since the inception of the program. The program enables the students to have a learning experience, a different perspective, a different technological approach and also cultural experience. In his remarks, the Vice- Chancellor thanked the students for visiting the University. He further said that the program had impacted the University positively by the virtue of globalizing the University. “The University is looking forward to benefitting further by the networks that during your stay you build”, stated the Vice-Chancellor. Prof. Isaac Kosgey wished them a safe journey as they returned home and start their journey of being Ambassadors of the University.
