Moi University and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday 7th September, 2021 signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The objective is to pursue goals of mutual benefit through collaboration in training, research, industrial attachments, information sharing and resource mobilization for economic growth and improved welfare in the region. The Ceremony was presided over by Moi University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac S. Kosgey and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President, Mr. Richard Ngatia. During the ceremony Prof. Kosgey said, “We are seeking for partnerships, collaboration and funding to enable us roll out more projects and to enhance Knowledge Creation & sharing, Innovation and Sustainable Development in Kenya. The proposed capacity development project aims at enhancing skills on enterprise management and sustainability. The target will be the MSME sector in Kenya.”
Present during the signing of the MoU were Members of the University Management Board, Deans, Directors, Deputy President KNCCI, Mr. Eric Rutto, Uasin Gishu County Chamber Chair, Mr. Willy Kenei among others.
