One of the key issue of discussion is the value addition of discarded textile waste from domestic and industrial establishment. This is in line with European Union (EU) circular Economy policy currently under discussion in the EU parliament.

This project will involve collection of textile waste from dandora dumpsite and re-design them to have a higher value (upscaling). Moi university was respresented by Prof Igadwa Mwasiagi and Dr Rose Ramkat.

Moi University (MU) hopes to collaborate with the Estonia Academy of Arts (EKA).
