- To qualify for admission into a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, applicants shall be holders of a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, Forced Migration, International Relations and Public Administration and Public Policy from Moi University or from institutions of higher learning recognized by Moi University Senate.

- This program will be offered in a period of 3 academic years consisting of 2 semesters each.

Admission Requirements:
- To qualify for admission into a PhD. programme in Geography, applicants shall be:-
- 1. Holder of a Master of Philosophy degree in Geography or a related discipline from Moi University
- 2. Holder of a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Geography or a related discipline from any other recognized university.
- Duration and Type of Registration
- Common regulations of the Graduate Studies Programmes of Moi University and of the School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS) shall apply. Specifically, however, the Department of Geography shall critically analyse the applicants’ qualification and determine level (either year 1 or year 2) of entrance. A candidate may be registered as a full-time student for the PhD Degree programme for minimum of three years and a maximum five years. A candidate may be registered as a part-time student for the PhD degree programme for a minimum of four years and a maximum of seven years.
- Mode of Delivery:
- • Coursework for 1st year
- • Data collection and analysis and write-up in the 2nd year
- • Final correction, publication and submission of thesis for examination in the 3rd year

- b) An applicant must be holder of :
- (i). A Bachelors degree
- (ii). A Masters degree in Medical Education or a related discipline from Moi University or Institutions approved by Moi University Senate.
- c) An applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in health related discipline.
- d) If from foreign countries, show evidence of proficiency in English language
- e) Pass admission interviews as determined by the Departmental Postgraduate Committee.

- b) In addition to fulfilling the common University regulations, an applicant must hold: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in Immunology or equivalent degree.
- c) In addition, an applicant will be required to pass written and oral entrance examination administered by the Department of Pathology (Immunology). International students should demonstrate proficiency in English Language.
- d) There are competitive scholarships to support successful applicants through the European Union Intra Africa Academic Mobility.
- e) Pass admission interviews as determined by the Departmental Post Graduate Committee.
